A Public Trading Journal — Built on The Analyzer

Every trade, logged and dated — before the outcome is known.

No hindsight, no cherry-picking. This is a working journal run on The Analyzer, our own trend and stage-based approach to the ASX and US markets — inspired by classic stage analysis, adapted through our own testing — with entries, mistakes, and lessons published as they happen.

The Analyzer

On methodology: The Analyzer is our own trend and stage-based screening system, built on general technical analysis concepts and refined through our own testing. It's a system in active development — currently in testing, and it will continue to be updated as we learn more. Results should be treated as a starting point for your own research, not a signal to trade on.

ASX tickers need the .AX suffix (e.g. BHP.AX). US tickers as-is (e.g. AAPL). Up to 12 at a time.

Our Framework

A framework, not a feeling

This journal runs on The Analyzer — our own trend-and-stage framework, built on general technical analysis principles and adapted through our own testing and experience. It's a system still in testing, and we'll keep updating it as our results and understanding develop. Every trade has a defined setup, a defined risk, and a defined reason for existing before money moves.

01

Stage analysis first

Every candidate is placed on the stage cycle before anything else is considered — no setup gets evaluated out of context.

02

Risk defined before entry

Position size and stop-loss are set before the trigger, not after. If the risk isn't clear, there's no trade.

03

Losses published too

Stop-outs and mistakes are logged with the same detail as wins. A journal that only shows winners isn't a journal.

04

Two books, kept separate

Long-term holdings and swing trades are never blended — different goals, different rules, different accounting.
